I grew up in the family business of restaurant and retail ownership in Lake George, New York. I attended The College of Saint Rose and went against the family grain by studying education in lieu of business. Upon graduating summa cum laude, I started teaching in rural Vermont, continuing to manage my family’s businesses during the busy summer season.
Teaching truly strengthened my ability to manage tasks effectively, stay organized, but also to think on my feet.
While teaching will always hold a special place in my heart, after giving birth to my daughter, I decided to take a step back and ask myself the hard question… what truly brings me joy?
What brings me joy is helping others.
I am actively involved with numerous local charities and I give of my time and resources as often as possible.
Outside of retail events I was planning, I started organizing fundraisers for local charities that I was involved in and began to really develop a sense of myself.
I enjoy the creative aspect of event planning and also the new and exciting challenges that each event provides.
Eventually that led to being asked to coordinate weddings and larger corporate expos.
I started Events To a T because I want to continue being creative and making people happy. Event planning does both! What I want people who are considering working with me to know, is this:
